Nigg Knot Cufflinks – Silver

£150.00

As with all our products, our Nigg Knot Cufflinks have been hand crafted in the Scottish highlands. Their detailed design stands out against the dark background in the most eye-catching way. Inspiration for this design has come from the Nigg Standing Stone.

Nigg Standing stone is now situated in the Nigg Old Church in Ross-shire, Scotland. This magnificent Cross-Slab is not just an important Pictish relic, it is also classed as a major work of European art.  Visitors have been drawn to this standing stone for over 1200 years as it sits, close to the entrance to the deep waters of the Cromarty Firth.
Nigg is a small village in the Scottish Highlands however many people have heard of it  as, Nigg yard was a huge employer from 1976. It had as many as 5000 employees at one time and the majority of these men had relocated from across the UK. Nigg Yard has been empty for the last 20 years however it has recently been purchased by Global Energy Group and their ambitious plans to create a modern multi-user facility which serves a range of energy sectors is already underway. Nigg Bay may soon become the hub of employment that it used to be.
Our hand crafted Nigg Stone Cufflinks would make the perfect present or memento for anyone with Nigg connections. Our products are also available in gold.
